OODA utilizes redundant systems. This includes our power system, cooling, and our backbone.

Each server is connected to an uninterruptible power supply, protected by multiple sources of air conditioning, and multiple carriers.

You want your data stored in a fail-safe, powerful location.

Our data center uses 3 megawatts of uninterrupted power, in which 1.5 megawatts is redundant.

Should an outage occur, our battery capacity can keep the raised floor space up and running.

For longer period outages, Alpha utilizes two 1 megawatt Caterpillar diesel fueled generators.

This would come in quite useful in the event of a storm with the magnitude of the June 29, 2012, derecho that crippled West Virginia.

 

How's this for cool?

Our chillers can supply a constant, cool temperature and airflow for hundreds of feet with no barriers.

This is superior to other conventional A/C ducting, which cannot run for significant lengths because the airflow will decrease dramatically as the distance increases.

OODA keeps two chillers in constant operation for the data center, and we have a third on standby.

 

 

OODA knows that network connectivity is key when it comes to data center and hosting.

OODA's data center is designed to support multiple carriers via diverse paths giving carriers the ability to deliver optimal connectivity.

All conduits within the property are buried underground to help ensure that communication lines are not interrupted.

Current carriers have physically built out fiber to the facility.

With multiple carriers and diverse paths, we can assure our customers of first-rate performance.

 

OODA also keeps a ready supply of drives, network cards, processors, motherboards and every piece of equipment that has even a remote chance of failure.
